HMS Portland Makes First Visit To Portsmouth After A Major Refit

This is the moment a British Royal Navy ship can be seen heading for a first visit port since a major refit.

The great sight of the HMS Portland frigate on the water advancing towards the Portsmouth port city was captured in South East England and was shared by the Navy Lookout on 16th June.

According to the YouTube user named ‘Robert Simmonds,’ the mains structures that HMS Portland has improved in its combat equipment during the repair are the new Sea Ceptor and the Type 997 Artisan radar.

The Type 23 ‘Duke’-class frigate, HMS Portland F79 warship is a member of the British Royal Navy used to maintain the prosperity of Britain and the stability of the high seas.
