This is the moment a brave female shop assistant sends a pair of armed robbers fleeing after stabbing one of the thugs with a knife.
The footage shows shows Veronica Bauzada, 40 appearing to stab one of the thieves as attempts to fire a gun at the woman and her husband and her husband Roberto Pavon, 37 during the robbery.
However, the gun jammed according to local media and the pair of armed raiders were sent fleeing from the shop in La Matanza in the eastern Argentine capital Buenos Aires when two armed robbers entered.

While one of the thieves was stealing from the woman’s till, the other was robbing her husband’s cash register, according to reports.
However, Veronica managed to distract one of the men and grabbed a knife on the counter.
They then struggled over the weapon and Veronica’s husband ran over to help restrain the man.
Meanwhile, reports said that the other thief pulled out a gun and fired at the couple three times but the weapon jammed. They two men then fled the shop.
She told local media afterwards: “I am not a murderer, I am never like this, but it was all or nothing.”
Veronica also claimed that she has been the victim of five robberies in the last two months.
She added: “They were saying ‘you are being robbed’ and when I saw the knife I did not hesitate, I was ready to stab him.
“We struggled and the other man started to shoot at my partner. He fired three times, but the gun did not work.”
Veronica continued: “One of them may be in hospital because I think we hurt him, but they managed to escape before the police arrived.”
She also said that her mother told her off for fighting back as her “brother died in a similar situation”, but in the moment she simply “did not think about it”.
The incident is currently under investigation.
