This heart-stopping video shows a man clinging to the outside of a 10th-floor home while putting out a fire on a clothes drying rack.
Because he is in China that is hit by the COVID-19 virus he is wearing a surgical mask, and with him climbing the building as well, he has been dubbed the ‘Masked Spider-Man’ by locals.
The incident was captured by residents in a gated community in the city of Liyang in East China’s Jiangsu Province on 18th February.

The fire began in the multi-storey tower block while the occupants of the home were out and the clothes hanging on a rail outside their window were suddenly set ablaze.
Su Zhiqiang, who is among the management staff at the residential district, was notified by neighbours who spotted and filmed the fire growing on the side of the building.
Mr Su, 38, called the fire service and then the owner of the residence who confirmed they were not in.

To prevent the fire from spreading, he decided to access the home in question via the 9th-floor flat directly below.
Dramatic video shows Mr Su clinging to a set of security bars outside the 10th-floor home as he removes items of burning clothes and tosses them down the side of the tower block.
He eventually climbs inside the window to put out the remaining flames.
Thanks to him and others who he let in via the front door, the fire caused no significant damage to the home. It was not revealed how the fire started.
Mr Su said: “It’s scary when I think about it now, but at the time I was considering the safety and belongings of the homeowner.
“I didn’t give it much thought. I saw the fire and climbed from the 9th floor to the 10th because I was worried.”
