The shocking incident was recorded in a school in the Dominican Republic although the exact location and the name of the school are unknown.

The clip was widely shared on social media by netizens who complained of how the teacher was slapped while she was doing her job.

The footage shows the unnamed teacher scolding a girl in blue school uniform when another female pupil suddenly slaps the teacher in her face.

The pair suddenly begin grabbing each and fighting as the camera is knocked out of focus. Other pupils pile in to seemingly break up the fight while some students record the scene on their phones.

At one point the teacher appears to be fighting against two female pupils as others shout on.
The teacher can be seen seemingly pulling the girl’s hair as they grapple over the classroom.

It is unclear if the school has taken any measures against the student who slapped the teacher or if an investigation has been launched into the incident.
