This is the shocking moment a heavyset woman smashes two glass bottles over her boyfriend’s head in a shop before dragging him onto the floor and repeatedly kicking him.
The incident was filmed by a shop CCTV camera in the neighbourhood of La Feria in the municipality of Piedecuesta located in the north-eastern Colombian department of Santander and was later shared on social media.
In the footage, the angry woman is seen smashing a glass bottle over the seated man’s head before taking another one which she whacks him with several times.
Eventually, the second bottle breaks over the victim’s head and the woman continues to hit him before dragging him onto the floor.
Meanwhile, a chubby man appears and does nothing to stop the apparent beating.
The woman repeatedly kicks the victim’s head on the floor until another man arrives who then takes her outside.
According to local media, the unnamed woman agreed to meet her boyfriend in the shop following a heated row.
When she was quizzed by the police, the suspect reportedly said that she attacked her partner because he had insulted her.
According to reports, the suspect has been arrested while her boyfriend is being treated in hospital.
The investigation continues.
