This footage shows US paratroopers firing anti-tank guided missiles from a High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) platform during a military exercise in Germany.

The HMMWV is a four-wheel-drive tactical vehicle produced for the US Army that is designed to carry military equipment, including machine guns and anti-tank missile launchers and can reach speeds up to 65 miles per hour (104 kilometres per hour).

The exercise involved soldiers loading and firing heavy long-range TOW missiles at the Grafenwoehr Training Area, in Germany on 13th December.

The Tube-launched, Optically tracked, Wire-guided missile (TOW) is a powerful American-made warhead that offers an effective range of up to 12,300 feet (3,750 metres).
