Hanover Prince Thrown Out Of Luxury Madrid Hotel After Bust Up With Staff

Prince Ernst August of Hanover – husband of Princess Caroline of Monaco – has reportedly been thrown out of a luxury hotel in Madrid following a series of bust-ups with staff members.

The head of the royal House of Hanover, 68, who has been living in Spain for some time, was ejected from the luxurious Palacio de los Duques Gran Melia hotel in Madrid.

The prince, who has battled booze problems in the past, was thrown out of his suite at the hotel following a bust-up with a staff member, according to local media.

However, the incident was reportedly the last in a long list of altercations with workers that the hotel’s management was no longer willing to put up with.

The prince, who is still married to Princess Caroline of Monaco, reportedly booked into another luxury hotel near the Palacio del Duque de Elduayen, where his alleged lover Claudia Stilianopoulos lives.

In July 2020, Prince Ernst was reportedly taken to a psychiatric facility after calling the police for urgent help, followed by an altercation between him and officers upon their arrival.

In November 2021, he was seen arguing with Stilianopoulos in the middle of the street while they were enjoying dinner with some friends. The incident resulted in Stilianopoulos and her female friend leaving the scene while the prince allegedly stayed with his friend in the restaurant.

He entered rehab last year, but ended up leaving the centre before finishing his treatment, according to local media.
