This is the moment a former Olympic gymnast takes on the ‘Bottle Cap Challenge’ while performing a headstand and swinging her legs like a helicopter’s blades.
Spanish former Olympic rhythmic gymnast Almudena Cid has recorded her version of the ‘Bottle Cap Challenge’ which has seen film stars like Jason Statham and Ryan Reynolds kicking the lids of bottles along with footballers such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba.
In the video, Cid, 39, can be seen performing a headstand with her legs spread horizontally in the air.
She then swings her legs like a pair of rotary blades on a helicopter and kicks the yellow cap off a bottle.
She added the clip with the caption: “Even if things are turned upside down.”

Cid is the only rhythmic gymnast who has competed in four Olympic finals before retiring in August 2008 after the Beijing Olympics.
Neitzens loved the clip, with ‘Patricia Carr’ writing: “I got injured just watching this video.”

Cid won the gold medal at the XVth Mediterranean Games in the Spanish city of Almeria in 2005 and her highest finish at the Olympics was eighth (2004 and 2008).
