The court in La Pampa Province found mum Magdalena Esposito Valenti, 25, and her partner, 28-year-old Abigail Paez, guilty of several charges related to the killing during the hearing on 2nd February.

Evil Valenti was found guilty of triply-aggravated homicide, while cruel Paez was found guilty of doubly-aggravated homicide and sexual abuse, for having inserted an object into victim Lucio Dupuy’s rectum.

Tragic Lucio was brutally beaten at the home where he lived with the couple in Santa Rosa on 26th November 2021.

He was still alive but was having convulsions and fainted when the couple took him to a police station in the city.

Staff performed CPR on him and he was taken to hospital, where he passed away.

Medics found he had blood in his mouth and bruises all over his body. An autopsy later gave his cause of death as internal bleeding.

Valenti and Paez were swiftly arrested.

They did not attend the Thursday hearing, as they are in custody in San Luis Province.

Prior to Lucio’s death, Valenti had fought and won a bitter custody battle with the boy’s father, Christian Dupuy.

Later addressing his deceased son, he said: “That’s why it took you a while to answer me when I asked you if you were happy. They kept you silent.

“You were scared, and I didn’t realise it.”

Christian attended the latest hearing and shed tears after hearing the verdict.

The couple’s sentences will be revealed in a later hearing. They face life behind bars.
