This footage shows a grumpy old man throwing a heavy metal scooter at a child’s head for making too much noise.

The heavy scooter cracked the boy on the head during the attack in the Russian city of Cheboksary, the capital city of the Russian Chuvashia Republic.

The video shows the man standing in the doorway as a bunch of young children running around outside, he then picks up a scooter which has been put on one side of the doorway, and throws another boy to the left of the CCTV camera.

It reportedly hit the boy in the head, and a short while later he can be seen walking into the view of the camera clearly injured.

According to local media, he needed to be hospitalised for treatment they included several stitches, and the man is facing prosecution for the attack.

Locals said that the grumpy old man was constantly coming downstairs to moan at the children making noise, but it was difficult as there was a playground nearby.

The boy’s parents said they had tried to contact the pensioner but he refused to open the door, and as a result they had filed a police report in the hope it will be prosecuted.

Neither the boy or his parents were named, and his age was also not given.

According to press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Chuvashia an investigation is underway as a result of the complaint.
