Gruesome Discovery As Dead Baby Found Dumped At Recycling Centre In Germany

A dead baby has been found dumped at a recycling centre in Germany.

The shocking discovery was made in the city of Halle in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt on 27th December.

The police received a phone call from a person who had found the body at the outer fence of the recycling centre on the outskirts of the city.

According to the police, there is no connection between the caller and the baby or the alleged crime.

It is currently unclear if traces of violence were found on the baby’s body. According to the police, the baby was a newborn.

The police scoured the premises and vicinity for clues, and a German shepherd sniffer dog found traces of blood on a rubbish bin 100 metres from the place where the body was found.

They are now investigating whether the perpetrator first tried to put the baby in the bin before then disposing of it at the recycling centre’s fence.

The police hope that CCTV cameras will have caught the incident as it unfolded and that the footage will provide them with enough information to make an arrest.

The Halle public prosecutor has ordered an autopsy on the dead baby to try to ascertain if it was born alive and if it was killed.
