This is the moment a man in Iceland captured a picture of the Green Goblin in the night sky.
Computer programmer Sigurdur O Larusson, who lives in Burstabrekka in Hagi in the southern part of the country, captured the snap on his phone while he was out walking on the night of 26th November.
Sigudur reportedly noticed that the northern lights were particularly bright.
He told local media: “They were especially amazing so I decided to take a snap using my phone.”
When he got home, he decided to share one of the images with his daughter and was stunned when she pointed out the Goblin-like face staring down at the earth, according to reports.
He said: “It was amazing, I didn’t realise that the face was there until my daughter sent me the picture back with the image.”
He was so impressed with the results of his amateur snap that is now determined to buy a good camera to see what else he can capture.
Speaking of his home, Burstabrekka, he said: “It is such an amazing place to watch the northern lights.”
The Green Goblin is one of the archenemies of Spider-Man and was created by Stan Lee. He is noted for flying around in the sky on his trademark jet-powered board.
