GRAND DAFT AUTO: Police Seize Hapless Car Break In Gang

This is the moment a team of police officers caught and arrested a gang of thieves who broke into multiple vehicles in one night.

Newsflash obtained the footage along with a statement from the Atlanta Police Department, that was released on Friday, 9th September, only two days after the incident occurred.

According to the statement, Atlanta Police units responded to a call regarding four suspects breaking into vehicles in Atlanta, Georgia, in the USA, on 7th September – three of whom remain unnamed, with only the fourth suspect later identified as 19-year-old Jaiden Jackson.

Officer Petkov was reportedly the first to arrive on the scene and began canvasing the area, when he heard glass breaking nearby.

While searching the area, Officer Petkov reportedly located four suspects actively breaking into vehicles and started chasing after them.

In the footage, Officer Petkov can be seen catching up to the first suspect and apprehending him. The suspect later reportedly admitted to having a gun on him.

After the first suspect was detained, Officer Thurmond’s and Officer Miranda’s bodycams show them detaining a second suspect that fled from the scene.

The last bit of footage reveals Officer Ho locating a third suspect, who also ran from the scene. Officers reportedly recovered multiple tools that are believed to have been used by the suspects to break into vehicles.

Police said they were unable to locate the fourth and final suspect. Officers reportedly discovered three vehicles with broken windows at the location.
