This graffiti showing Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos kissing Barcelona superstar Gerard Pique has been sprayed onto a wall on a busy street in Barcelona just before El Clasico.

The graffiti was seen on the major avenue and important shopping area Passeig de Gracia located in central Barcelona in the autonomous community of Catalonia located in northeastern Spain.

The graffiti, which is sprayed onto what appears to be a power box, shows Spanish national team captain Ramos, 33, and Catalonia national team defender Pique, 32, kissing while wearing their club uniforms.

The two can be seen embracing and sharing a passionate kiss while Ramos stands on his toes to reach the taller Pique.

Behind the kiss, a heart can be seen with the words “Kiss & Talk” written inside of it.

Next to the graffiti, a sticker pasted on the same power box can be seen saying ‘Spain Kiss & Talk’ and the name of the artist ‘TVBOY’.

The sticker also includes: “Mixed technique. Spray and acrylic on urban furniture. Museum of the street. 2019.”

The name of the artwork appears to be a reference to the ‘Spain Sit and Talk’ slogan which has been used by Catalan separatists.

The artwork is reportedly to promote dialogue between Spain and Catalonia as violent protests were set off in October of this year after nine Catalan separatist leaders were sentenced to between nine and 13 years of prison by the Spanish Supreme Court.

‘Tvboy’ used the footballers as they both are important figures for Spain, Ramos, and Catalonia, Pique. The two are set to clash in El Clasico today (Wednesday).

The artist has previously made headlines for a piece of art which shows Messi in a blue top with the Barcelona club crest hanging from a necklace and a claret robe completing the famous colours of the club.

Argentina ace Messi had a halo around his head and a football at his feet as he holds a wooden staff in a godly pose.

El Clasico is set to take place at the Nou Camp today (Wednesday) with fears of potentially violent protests during the clash.

The match will decide who the leader of La Liga will be as the two Spanish club giants are equal on 35 points with Barcelona topping the league on goal difference.
