Griffith said police and Animal Control officers responded to the incident at around 11am after receiving calls about a loose goat trying to break in to the community, local media reported.

He added that as the pursuit was beginning to come to an end, the goat escaped from the community and ran into a resident’s backyard.

At that point, Officer Griffith managed to catch up with the runaway goat and was able to capture it.

After successfully detaining the goat, it was safely removed from the resident’s yard.
