Gorgeous Singer Apologises For Raunchy Music Video With Dyed Rabbits

This gorgeous singer has apologised to her fans after she was accused of animal cruelty over a raunchy music video that features brightly-dyed rabbits.

German singer Katja Krasavice apologised for displaying the dyed rabbits in a video for her recent single ‘OnlyFans’.

The music clip, which shows the 25-year-old Czech-born stunner and her female dance troupe petting and holding brightly-dyed rabbits matching the colours of their zany bunny outfits, premiered on YouTube on 11th February.

After the video release, Krasavice, whose real name is Katrin Vogelova, was sharply criticised by animal rights groups including PETA, which claimed that the rabbits could have suffered anxiety during the shoot and that the dying of their fur could have been harmful to its texture.

PETA representatives wrote on Instagram: “We think: The [bunny ear] headbands would have been enough! The fact that live animals are used for music videos, films or photoshoots is neither fashionable nor animal-friendly.

“All animals suffer on sets – and all of these animals live in captivity, are exploited for entertainment and, as in this case, even physically assaulted by having their fur dyed.”

Shortly after PETA’s post, the 25-year-old stunner’s team deleted the scenes from the YouTube video, which has currently notched up over three million views.

Krasavice has claimed the rabbit scenes were “an unconscious mistake”.

She defended herself by saying: “So many people are sad that I had rabbits in the video. I want to apologise for doing this. It was an unconscious mistake, something uninformed. In the end, I’m human and I make mistakes too.”

She said that during the filming, no one pointed out to her that the rabbits were suffering, and explained: “Nobody came to me and said ‘Katja, what you’re doing is shit’. Not during the shoot, not in the planning, not on the set. If just one [person] had come, I would have thought it over, researched it and cancelled it.”

Krasavice also said that there was an animal trainer working with her on set and added: “We discussed everything with her, she was on the set, she gave us the go after we told her what we wanted to do with the animals and what we wanted for the animals. She came there with her animals and supervised it.”

It is currently unclear if either the singer or the animal trainer, who has not been named, faces any investigation or legal consequences from the stunt.
