This gorgeous anchorwoman has revealed that she was attacked and injured by a stray dog with rabies while walking along the street.
Ela Rumeysa Cebeci, 33, an anchorwoman for TV100, said she was attacked by the stray dog in the neighbourhood of Bebek in the district of Besiktas in the Turkish province of Istanbul.
She posted a photo on Instagram Stories showing her bandaged leg with the message: “While walking in Bebek, a stray dog attacked me. I spent all day in hospitals yesterday. I’m going to get five doses of the rabies vaccine. It was terrible.”
The jaw-dropping news anchor said the incident has deeply affected her and that it should never happen to anyone again, adding: “What kind of carelessness is it to have aggressive animals on the street in a place like Bebek? Who are to blame? The council? The people living there?”
She said that she was afraid of a dog for the first time in her life and managed to escape by running away.
The anchorwoman added that it was evident from the dog’s appearance that it had rabies.
She also said that several taxi drivers refused to accept her as a customer after being injured and that she had to walk a long way with a wounded leg.
It is unclear if she has filed a complaint with the local authorities over the attack and situation with stray dogs in the area.
