Good Samaritan Uses Car To Prize Open Front Door After Local Woman Accidentally Drove Into It And Jammed It Shut

This is the moment a ‘Prince Charming’ drives an SUV attached to a cable in reverse to rip open a door to an apartment block after a local woman accidentally jammed it shut when she drove into it by mistake.

The man helped the woman, both not named, to open the front door to the residential building in the city of Berezovsky in the Russian region of Sverdlovsk Oblast on 2nd January.

Footage filmed by a neighbour shows how the man, who was later dubbed ‘Prince Charming’ in local media reports, reverses the woman’s Mitsubishi SUV, which is attached to a cable he has fixed to the jammed-shut door.

After performing a few bursts with the car in reverse in quick succession, the door is seen flying out from its frame and onto the street.

According to local reports, the door had become stuck in place after the woman driver had tried to park, but ended up confusing the accelerator and brake pedals, After she rammed into it, the metal door was bent out of shape, and could no longer be opened.

Residents were then unable to open the door, and it was up to the local man to save the day a few hours later.

Not all were impressed with the man’s actions, however, and some residents, upon seeing his crude and rudimentary solution to the problem, called the cops.

This led the police to open an investigation into the incident. However, it is not known if the man, who would go on to receive praise from journos and netizens alike, will face sanction.
