A 30-year-old mum-of-two died suddenly just hours after coming second in a bodybuilding and fitness contest.
Tragic Johana Colla passed away in Sao Paulo, south-eastern Brazil, on 8th October.
Just hours earlier, she had come runner-up in the Women’s Physique category at the South American Bodybuilding and Fitness Championship.
Johana came from Lomas de Zamora, Buenos Aires Province, eastern Argentina and was a mother of two daughters.
The autopsy results are still pending, but preliminary information suggests she died of a heart attack.
It was Johana’s niece, Daniela Yael Colla, who broke the news of her passing on social media.
Daniela wrote: “I wasn’t going to post anything yet, but unfortunately today we woke up to the sad news that Johana has passed away.
“I ask you please not to ask what happened to her because until the autopsy is done, we won’t know for sure.
“She had gone to Brazil to compete and because of the long weekend, not much can be done.”
Daniela left bank account details and added: “We need your help to be able to say goodbye to my aunt Johana Colla properly.
“I ask more than anything for her two daughters and my grandmother.”
In one of her last social media posts, Johana had written: “Peace and tranquillity are what my body and mind need today to give my best.
“I am achieving it by winning one more battle against myself every day.
“I always could, can, and will be able.”
