According to local media, the teenager is a budding online ‘influencer’ who makes her own income.

She recently told her followers: “The last couple of years, there hasn’t been much contact with my parents. I was making money by myself, and I was on my own while they were also doing their own thing. I didn’t see any reason to stay in the family anymore.”

Ksenia described her relationship with her footballer dad as “good but not close”, but mainly because he was away a lot playing with Zenit Saint Petersburg.

She said: “My father is kinder than her (stepmum Ekaterina Malafeeva, 31). He is calm, never yells, and you can always find a compromise with him.”

The teen said that she misses her mother, Marina Malafeeva, very much.

The mother died aged 27 in a car accident in 2011 when Ksenia was only seven years old.

She said: “I would love so much to have my mum here with me now. There are so many things I want to discuss with her.”

Her dad married Ekaterina in December, 2012.

The stepmother wrote on Ksenia’s 16th birthday: “Appreciate your family, this is the most valuable thing you have in your life. It may be difficult to live with a family sometimes, but you can’t be happy living alone.”
