This pretty young mum has died at a plastic surgery clinic while undergoing corrective surgery for a previous breast enlargement operation, amid claims the medics were not qualified.

The mum-of-two named by family members as Yang Xue was just 28 years old at the time of her death on 18th August. She leaves behind twin boys under the age of two.

According to reports, she went to the Wanhe Plastic Surgery Hospital behind her family’s back for a second time, after she had previously ordered a boob job from the clinic in Nanyang City, in Central China’s Henan Province, without her husband’s knowledge two months earlier.

The clinic has now been shut ahead of an official probe amid claims that medics there were not qualified.

Yang’s spouse, Mr Zhang, said: “She went at 10am [on 18th August]. We found out about complications at 5:35pm.

“They told us they were still trying to revive her, but the medics had already arrived and declared her dead.

“My wife was bleeding from her eyes, nose, mouth and ears. Her neck was covered in needle marks.

“I didn’t even know she was going for surgery. Nothing was signed. They showed me a signature, but it looked obviously fake. That definitely wasn’t signed by my wife.

“The clinic has been shut and officials are investigating. They are questioning two doctors and a nurse.”

Mr Zhang claimed the clinic’s doctors were not qualified to perform the surgery, and that the cosmetic business was not equipped to handle medical complications.

Local authorities have since shut the clinic for investigation, and officials have opened an inquiry into the case; however, neither the police nor government spokespersons have revealed further details about Ms Yang’s death.

As such, it is unclear what exactly went wrong during the operation.

Ms Yang’s mother revealed to local media that she only learned her daughter went back to the clinic on the day of her surgery.

She noticed Ms Yang had left home without having breakfast and called her at around noon.

Ms Yang reportedly told her mum: “I’m having some corrective work done for my previous surgery. The doctor said I can’t eat anything before my operation.”

Her mum said she asked when she was returning home, to which Ms Yang replied: “I can’t be certain,” and put down the phone.

The investigation is ongoing.
