This is the shocking moment a teen girl tries to push her friend into passing pedestrians as a practical joke and then screams in shock when she falls into the road instead and is hit by a passing car.

The teenage pals were walking along the pavement in the town of Ortuella in the Basque Country in northern Spain on the evening of 30th May when one of them tried to prank their friend, who luckily survived the incident with minor injuries despite appearing far worse in the video.

One of the girls tried to shove her 14-year-old friend into a couple of pedestrians on the pavement while another recorded the practical joke on her mobile phone.

However, the ‘joke’ quickly turned sour as the girl missed the passing pedestrians and fell into the road instead where she was immediately hit by an oncoming car, causing her friends to shriek in shock.

The emergency services were called to the scene and took the conscious victim to hospital where she was found to have suffered only minor injuries.

The Ertzaintza, the Basque Country’s police force, is investigating the incident.

Meanwhile, the footage was subsequently shared on social media, racking up tens of thousands of views.

YouTube user ‘Guitar Lawyer’ commented: “In my day, practical jokes were ringing doorbells and running away. Now the stupidity of TikTok leads kids to peak ignorance. They improve with time, they claim.”
