This is the adorable moment a young girl dressed as Elsa from ‘Frozen’ poses in Mexico after the hailstorm that made headlines worldwide.

The incident took place after a freak hailstorm interrupted the balmy 30-degree-Celsius temperatures being enjoyed in Guadalajara in the western Mexican state of Jalisco, as was widely reported by international media yesterday.

In the cute clip uploaded to Twitter, a young girl is seen dressed as Queen Elsa of Arendelle from the 2013 Disney movie ‘Frozen’.

While presenting the snowy surroundings to the camera, she says: “I am in Guadalajara. Come to ‘Princesitas’ (a costume shop).”

The cute youngster then starts singing the Spanish version of ‘Let it Go’ from the popular animated film.

According to reports, six suburbs in the Mexican city were carpeted in a layer of ice after temperatures dropped and a heavy hailstorm passed.

Local media said that the ice was 1.5 metres (4.9 feet) thick in some places and half-buried vehicles while 249 homes were also affected.

The local authorities reported fallen trees and flooded areas, but no one was injured during the hailstorm.

Civil Protection vehicles were sent to clear the thick ice from the carpeted streets.

Last month, temperatures were higher than normal and regions in the north of Guadalajara even reached 37 degrees Celsius.
