This is the moment a German couple stripped naked and then caused havoc by jumping on a police car after apparently getting high.

The unusual incident took place at the roundabout of Fiorano Modenese, a commune in the city of Modena in northern Italy, last Saturday (21st of August).

According to local reports, several shocked citizens who passed by the roundabout alerted the local authorities to the two naked people, one male and one female, who were running around naked.

The carabinieri (national gendarmerie of Italy) of Maranello in Fiorano Modenese arrived on the spot and identified that the pair as two German tourists aged 25 and 28 who were not identified but according to local news site Fanpage were under the influence of drugs.

When confronted the pair didn’t attempt to flee the scene but instead, as seen in the footage, clambered on top of the police car.

While standing on top of the vehicle, the pair began jumping on it, causing some damage to the roof of the car.

In an attempt to stop them from getting even more aggressive the carabinieri had to use pepper spray.

Having been sprayed the suspects climb off the car at which point they were first transferred to the hospital where they spent the night before being transported to the police station the following day (22nd August).

The pair will be faced with several charges including property damage, violence and resisting arrest.
