A pet poodle going walkies with a mother and daughter was picked up and shaken to death like a rag doll by a German shepherd that had escaped when its owner was not paying attention.

The incident was filmed in the town of Ezpeleta in the Argentine province of Buenos Aires.

According to the news site M1, the owner of two German shepherds was waiting for a friend to arrive when the animals ran out of the house.

A mother and daughter were passing the house with their dogs at the time, and one German shepherd immediately attacked one of their dogs.

In the footage, the dog is seen attacking the poodle in the street and apparently latching onto its neck before tossing it around.

The attacked dog is heard yelping as the German shepherd owner hits his own dog to try to make it release the poodle.

Following a struggle, the man manages to toss the poodle away from the dangerous dog while one of the women holds it back.

The poodle’s motionless body lands by the kerb and the daughter appears shocked at the sight of it as her mother picks it up and walks away.

She exchanges words with the German shepherd owner before he hits his dog several times and takes it back indoors.

According to reports, the poodle owner went to the police station in Ezpeleta to file a complaint.

However, the family said that the local police did not want to take the complaint and it is unclear if they plan to take the matter further.

Meanwhile, the owner of the German shepherds has claimed that he has been “threatened” by local residents following the attack.
