A star from Germany’s version of Pop Idol has shared shocking pictures of her beaten body and face which she says was done by her ex-boyfriend.

The 27-year-old came into the public eye after participating in the German show ‘Deutschland Sucht den Superstar’, the German version of Pop Idol.

Aline Bachmann became an icon against body-shaming in Germany when she shared pictures of her excess skin in Berlin’s Alexanderplatz in a stand against body-shaming after losing almost 19 stone (121 kilogrammes) last December.

Aline says she pulled the stunt to show that despite losing so much weight from her body weight, her body still gets judged.

But now Aline has shared photos on social media of her battered and bruised body which she says was the result of abuse from her ex-boyfriend.

Aline published her hospital diagnosis along with the images on Instagram where she has over 400,000 followers, which detailed skull contusions, choking trauma, concussion and lower leg contusions.

She wrote: “I’ve wanted to talk about it for a long time, but couldn’t because I’m so ashamed of myself!

“Unfortunately, love makes you blind! Toxic relationships are dangerous!

“In the beginning, they allow you everything and gradually they take away your freedom and make you feel that you can no longer do without them.”

The post has received over 40,000 reactions and many comforting comments from netizens such as ‘monique.bngr’ who wrote: “You are such a brave woman! We will always stand by you,” and ‘michelle_bully.daisy’ who commented: “Respect that you deal with it openly and thus maybe open the eyes of others!”

Her allegations were widely reported in German media, although they did not name her ex-boyfriend who was also not quoted as making any comment.
