A German man who reportedly grabbed a teenage woman’s bottom has paid for it with his life when he was stabbed in the neck at a bus stop.
The incident happened in the German city of Augsburg after the 28-year-old victim, identified only as Stefan D, allegedly grabbed the teenager’s bum.
The 19-year-old woman, name not disclosed, had been with a 27-year-old friend when the incident took place. Moments later, the German man was left dying on the ground after being stabbed in the neck.
The pair believed to be responsible for the attack then fled the scene, but after a hunt by local cops they were identified and arrested over the weekend.
The pair were remanded in custody on suspicion of manslaughter, however, based on eyewitness testimony, the man has now been released due to insufficient evidence while the teenager remains in custody.
The police believe it was the woman who stuck the knife in the victim’s neck after he allegedly grabbed her bottom.
Eyewitnesses said that the victim had clearly been drinking, and his family confirmed that he also had a drug problem and was attending a rehab centre.
His girlfriend, who was waiting at home for him to return, wrote on Facebook after his death: “Baby, I’ll never forget you. We had so many plans and dreams together and now they have just been taken away from us.”
The investigation continues.
