A gun-toting gang is being sought and two members have been arrested after foolishly posting a video of themselves on TikTok abusing nine tied men after breaking into their home and robbing them.
The nine victims went to the Bayrampasa Public Security Bureau on 17th January to report that their house in the neighbourhood of Orta in the district of Bayrampasa in the Turkish province of Istanbul had been broken into.
According to the victims, six Pakistani men came to the house at around 10.30pm on 4th January and tied them up before beating them and stealing their belongings.

The victims, also Pakistani, said the gang stole their backpacks, nine mobile phones and around TRY 6,000 (GBP 328) in cash at gunpoint.
They also said that they were aware that a video of the incident had been posted on TikTok.
Following a review of local CCTV cameras and the suspects’ social media accounts, the Turkish police identified the suspects and carried out a raid.

During the police raid, two of the six suspects, identified as O. S. and F. K., were placed under arrest and a gun and a knife were seized.
Officers also found the victims’ backpacks and clothes, according to reports.
The suspects have appeared before the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office and remain in custody as the police try to track down their four suspected accomplices.
