G4y Thai Throuple Get Hitched In Group Marriage

These three Thai men have got married in a group marriage with their respective families’ approval.

‘Throuple’ James Chandmthong, 30, Nong Amsapchan, 22, and Nong Toei Buutawat, 24, tied the knot in the south-eastern Thai province of Chanthaburi on 8th December.

The relationship started seven years ago between dietician Chandmthong and dancer Nong Amsapchan.

However, during their relationship, Chandmthong began to develop feelings for Buutawat, another dancer he met, and the feeling was mutual.

Chandmthong later confessed all to Amsapchan, expecting him to be distraught. However, he was surprised when his boyfriend welcomed Buutawat into the fold, and they swiftly began to develop their own feelings for each other.

The trio took their unconventional relationship to the next stage by moving in together, and they even founded the troupe ‘Thanawat Dance’.

Their traditional Thai ceremony, conducted by Buddhist monks, was attended by friends and family who gave their blessings in a country in which, until recently, conservative social movements had helped to underpin military rule.

Amsapchan’s mother Thanayarat Phol told local media: “I will try to protect the three boys and let them live a happy life like any other family.”
