This is the moment a bride is stretchered into the chapel after arriving in an ambulance with its sirens blaring as part of a controversial wedding stunt.
The incident was filmed in a currently unknown location in Malaysia and the video was shared on Facebook where it has been viewed 200,000 times.
The local authorities in the Malaysian state of Malacca have asked the country’s Ministry of Health to investigate the matter after locals claimed it happened in the south-western state.
According to local media, the couple and family members arrived at the ceremony in separate ambulances as part of a planned dramatic entrance.
However, the Malacca authorities have asked for the matter to be investigated to confirm whether there had been a misuse of public services.
Low Chee Leong of the Malacca Health and Anti-Drug Committee said: “I have checked with the government and private hospitals here and I was told that the ambulances were not those in service here based on the vehicles’ colours.
“Some people claimed in messages sent to me that the ambulances were from a hospital in Malacca.”
He added: “It’s an absolute abuse of a service meant for emergencies.”
In the footage, the groom is seen wheeling his blushing bride into the chapel on a stretcher while wearing a paramedic’s uniform.
The other ambulance was reportedly used to transport family members.
