Fun-Lovers Take Funny Selfies On Lost Phone

A group of fun-loving people who found a young woman’s iPhone left these photos of themselves on the device before handing it in at a lost property office in Japan.

The people, seen blowing kisses into the camera and laughing, had found the phone after its owner, a young Japanese woman, mislaid it.

Although when locked most functions on mobile phones do not work, on the iPhone at least the camera can still be accessed, something the people that found it at wholesalers Costco took advantage of.

The phone owner wrote on Twitter: “I forgot my mobile phone at Costco and went to back to get it but it wasn’t there so I went to the customer centre and it had been handed in. I casually opened up the photos folder and laughed when I saw these selfies of foreigners lol Nice people lol.”

The message from the young woman was then sent to her sibling who shared it with others online. They said they wanted people to retweet the message so that they could thank the people who they described as foreigners for handing in the phone.

So far, the young blonde woman and her two pals have not come forward and it is thought they might have been tourists.

It was not revealed where the Costco was located in Japan, but the company opened its first Japan location in 1999, and since then has grown its presence to 26 stores.
