This is the moment a French woman pummels a man she spent the night with in a hotel after he allegedly tried to run off with her bag and after leaving him lying there, he was mugged minutes later by a random passerby.
The incident took place outside a hotel in the district of Beyoglu in the Turkish city of Istanbul.
The suspect, named as Qatari national Al Fehaid Saad M., went to the hotel with Lina Samira B., a French citizen, after a night on the tiles, according to the news site Haberler.
However, he allegedly tried to flee from the hotel room with the woman’s bag and with her hot on his heels, he fell at the bottom of the steps to the entrance and was unable to stand.
While the beaten man was lying on the ground, she hit and kicked him before a hotel worker persuades her back into the hotel, but as he lay on the ground, another man stopped in the street in a taxi and robbed him.
The second thief reportedly made off with the suspect’s phone worth TRY 15,000 (GBP 998), as well as USD 1,100 (GBP 819) in cash and TRY 600 (GBP 40), also in cash.
According to reports, the police have arrested the man suspected of trying to rob the young woman. However, it is unclear if they are searching for the second thief.
