A French MP has published an anonymous letter that alleges a link between the rapid spread of the coronavirus and the deployment of 5G technology in China.

The MP Eric Bothorel, who is Co-Chair of the “Cybersecurity and Digital Sovereignty” study group, appeared to be wanting to ridicule the conspiracy theorist behind the letter which he said he received from an unidentified person explaining how 5G could be tied in with the spread of the coronavirus.

He then published the letter complete with spelling mistakes on social networks.

The letter claims that although they are not arguing that COVID-19 is transmitted via a broadcast of electromagnetic waves, they are pointing out the effect it has on the human immune system after a massive deployment in the cities that were worst affected in China by the virus.

An excerpt from the letter reads: “A week before the first cases of coronavirus appeared in China, the city hall of Hubei Wuhan in China has unveiled their new 5G network, the most efficient in the world, with great pomp and circumstance. […]

“It’s a 5G network 100 times more powerful than anywhere else because they’ve placed their 5G relays on the city’s street lamps.

“So instead of having a 5G relay every kilometre as in most cities, they had a 5G relay every 20 metres.

“On this very precise date, all the residents of Wuhan became massively ill.”

In sharing this email, Eric Bothorel was ironic, saying that he is now waiting for a model of the spread of the virus showing that the Earth is flat.

The International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) has judged that the radiation emitted by 5G is harmless to health.

Reports say that no link has been established between this radiation and the development of diseases, including cancer.
