Two former lovers have reunited in the same psychiatric hospital suffering from depression following their split after entirely by chance ending up in the same clinic for treatment.

The love story took place at a hospital in the city of Chengdu in the Chinese province of Sichuan.

According to local reports, the couple was together for eight years before they split up and went their separate ways two years ago.

They reportedly broke up due to a misunderstanding, with both suspecting the other of having an affair without ever discussing it.

However, they both reportedly fell into depression due to the split and were admitted to the hospital.

While recovering from depression, the couple met up again at the hospital and found that they were comfortable in each other’s company just like they had never been apart.

According to reports, the pair got back together with the help of persuasive nurses and they are currently getting on very well.

In the video, the two lovers are seen sitting close together with their backs to the camera as they share a tender chat and point to objects outside the hospital window.

Despite reportedly rekindling their love, it is unclear if the couple has left the hospital or have to finish a course of treatment.
