This footage shows French football fans having a spectacular celebration of their national football team’s victory over Morocco and making it to the final of the 2022 World Cup.

The images were obtained by Newsflash from Sandro Martins Gomes, 18, who experienced the wild festivities in the streets of Nice, France, after his country beat Morocco’s football team 2-0 in the semi-finals on 14th December.

Large crowds of proud French nationals can be seen chanting and dancing under the fireworks while waving banners as their national team got one step closer to winning the World Cup.

Fans were singing and dancing as dozens of red and blue-coloured flares were being set off, presumably in honour of France’s national flag.

Sandro told Newsflash that he expects nothing less than “a glorious victory for France of course” in the upcoming and final match with Argentina, which is scheduled for the 18th of December.

Sandro also said he predicts that France’s team will earn the ‘World Champion’ title with a 3-1 over the Argentinian opponent.
