Fluffy The Shop Robot Vacuum Makes Break For Freedom And Disappears In Crowded Streets

This clip shows Fluffy the robot vacuum cleaner making a break for freedom from a shop in Austria, prompting a social media appeal to find the rogue device.

The funny scene was filmed at a store in the quarter of Mostviertel in the Austrian state of Lower Austria on 24th January.

The Lefant Robot Vacuum Cleaner, named Fluffy, escaped from the shop at the exact moment the automatic doors were doing a test run before the store opened for the day.

The robot vacuum took to the streets and went missing, prompting shop owner Ingrid Pruckner to launch a social media appeal to help track down her rogue cleaning device.

Ingrid told Newsflash: “Fluffy usually finishes cleaning by 7am. The door was doing a test run at the exact moment Fluffy approached the entrance. It was pure coincidence!

“Fluffy just drove out and disappeared. It has never happened before.”

“I went to look for it on the street, but a car couldn’t have hit it otherwise I would have found broken plastic on the ground.

“We are asking anyone who finds it to return it to us.”

Ingrid told Newsflash: “It’s a Lefant vacuum robot. I really liked the name Fluffy and found it funny.

“Its battery lasts between two and three hours, depending on the size of the room and how much power it uses.”

Following her online appeal, which was titled ‘Has Anyone Seen Our Fluff?’, Ingrid said that “Fluffy is now back home”, but did not mention if a kindhearted resident returned it or if the little robot returned of its own accord.
