FLOORED: Officers Take Down And Arrest Wanted Murderer After Chase In Park

This is the moment police officers catch and arrest a wanted murderer after he fled from them on foot.

Newsflash obtained the footage from the Atlanta Police Department (APD), along with a statement according to which the incident took place in the city of Atlanta, in the US state of Georgia.

The APD said: “The Auto Crimes Enforcement (A.C.E.) and Zone 4 Field Investigations Team (F.I.T.) were alerted to a vehicle associated to a male suspect wanted for multiple murders (by Atlanta Police Dept. and East Point P.D.) and wanted for other violent crimes in Fulton and Dekalb Counties.”

Officers quickly located the suspect, later identified as Jadarius Carr, 25, who was reportedly driving in his car, and attempted to perform a traffic stop.

Body-worn footage shows Carr leaving his car behind at a petrol station and trying to flee on foot, forcing the officers to chase him down.

After a short pursuit, the officers are able to catch up with Carr and get him detained.

During the dramatic arrest, Carr gets placed in handcuffs and taken into custody.

The APD added: “We’d like to commend our officers for their quick response and for apprehending this dangerous suspect without incident.

“Thanks to their efforts, this repeat offender is now behind bars and the city of Atlanta is a little safer.”

Carr, who was also wanted for murder, got charged with multiple counts of felony and assault, the APD said.
