In the footage, the filming motorist is seen driving along the dual carriageway in wet conditions.

Suddenly, a speeding transit van approaches from the driver’s right-hand side and hits the central reservation, flipping on its side and sliding across the road.

Fortunately, the filming driver manages to brake just before they were about to ram into the van’s undercarriage and instead only lightly taps it.

According to local media, the accident caused the road to be closed between 11am and 12.10pm. It was the second road accident to happen at the same junction in two days.

According to local media, a grey van hit the pavement’s railings and crashed into the steps leading to a footbridge.

A female pedestrian was rushed to a nearby hospital after reportedly breaking her leg in the accident.

Meanwhile, the driver was trapped inside the van and rescued by bystanders.

He only suffered minor injuries and did not require hospital treatment, according to reports.
