Five Migrants Pummel Man On Street In Spains Salou

This is the shocking moment five migrants are filmed allegedly beating up a man in the street in a popular Spanish hotspot.

According to reports, the incident took place around 7am in the resort town of Salou in the north-eastern Spanish region of Catalonia and involved two French youths, two Armenians and a Russian suspect.

A spokesperson from the Mossos d’Esquadra (Catalonian police) told Central European that the five foreigners have an address in Salou and are not believed to be tourists visiting the region’s popular Costa Dorada.

In the video, filmed by an eyewitness and later shared on social media, five youths are seen beating up the man on the pavement.

The victim, whose name has not been revealed, was left on the ground after the alleged assault and was helped by bystanders.

Meanwhile, officers from the Mossos D’Esquadra arrived and started an investigation.

Reports said that officers found the five suspects on Capellans Beach and after an altercation, arrested them all.

The unnamed French, Armenian and Russian suspects are reportedly aged 18, 21, 23, 24 and 26.

At the moment, the reason for the street brawl is unclear. Meanwhile, the suspects have been charged and released, according to local media.
