This footage shows firefighters removed a children’s potty stuck on a boy’s head after his twin brother made him wear it.

Rescuers in the county of Jinhu, which is in Huai’an City in East China’s Jiangsu Province, said the boy was between five and six years old.

The child is the older of the twin siblings who found himself in the spot of bother while playing with his brother on 27th October.

Their grandmother said she left them to play with each other but soon learned that the younger brother had put their potty toilet bowl and seat over his older twin’s head.

The blue plastic contraption, which the twin brothers are said to use every day, became stuck firmly on the boy’s head.

Their gran she said she tried using soapy water to remove it, but her attempts were unsuccessful, and she turned finally to the fire service for help.

Video of the unusual rescue shows the seemingly embarrassed older brother standing still as firefighters begin dismantling the toilet stuck on his head like a mask.

The helpless boy’s eyes are visible in holes in the plastic potty, and he waits patiently as rescuers take the training toilet apart and liberate his head.

The boy’s face was full of seat, but he was not harmed by the prank, the fire service said.

He and his twin were sent home with their gran shortly after.
