A fire brigade spokesperson said: “In an accident like this, as with many other cases, we have to carry out a social psychological evaluation which is a delicate procedure of calming someone down and winning the trust of anyone involved in an emotional crisis or state of shock.

“In this case, we helped a boy who was removed from a stressful situation to play a game and divert his attention.”

In the photos, two firefighters are seen playing with the boy on a grass verge as a piece of car wreckage lies on the ground nearby.

According to local media, nobody was injured or needed to be taken to the hospital in the multi-vehicle traffic accident.

Netizen ‘Menufeles’ commented: “You are my heroes, I admire those people. God bless them and keep them safe.”

‘Natygesell’ said: “Well done for everything you do in every moment.”
