FIRE ALARM: Dramatic Moment Police Officers Rescue Man From Burning Building

This dramatic footage shows police officers forcing their way into a smoke-filled apartment as part of a rescue operation following a blaze at a property in Colorado.

The footage shows Arvada Police Officers who responded to the report of the blaze at the Village West Apartments, located at 12155 W. 58th Place, shortly after midnight.

On their arrival, they discovered a fire in a first-floor apartment on the east side of the building.

In a statement obtained by Newsflash from the Arvada Police, officials said: “The first officer on the scene quickly learned that a person was still in the first-floor apartment engulfed in fire. Entry was impossible.

“The Officer informed responding units and firefighters of the situation and began to evacuate the building. Other officers arrived on the scene, as did the Arvada Fire Department.

“Multiple officers worked to evacuate the three-story building.”

Officials said that one officer and sergeant went to Lutheran Medical Center for treatment of smoke inhalation, but they were released several hours later.

The police added: “We are grateful to be able to limit the tragedy in this case, and we want to thank the Arvada Fire Department for the quick response and for assisting our injured officers.”

The Arvada Fire will investigate the fire and share any new developments.

In order to show the dramatic scene, they released Officer Duffey’s body-worn camera recording.

Officer Duffey was reportedly the first officer on scene.
