Police in Argentina have arrested a 27-year-old woman after she confessed to stabbing her alleged abuser to death in a video on Facebook.
Florencia Eliana Mancilla explained how she had killed 35-year-old tattoo artist and music teacher Alexis Baciocchi at his home in Rio Grande, Tierra del Fuego Province on 18th December.
Mancilla said Baciocchi had sexually harassed her and threatened her children and other members of her family.
She confessed in the video: “He had been threatening me for a while. He said I belonged to him, that he was my owner. And he didn’t stop.
“So today I told him I was going to see him. I went to his house and told him how bad I felt, all the time. I tried to be honest.
“I told him I wanted to kill him because he would not leave me alone.”
She then explained that following a heated argument, she stabbed him.
Mancilla said: “He moved a lot, he was moving the whole time. He would not let me do it cleanly so he would not suffer.
“I actually wanted him to suffer, but it was not my intention to take his life, only to scare him so much that he would never mess with me again.”
Mancilla continued: “I called the police several minutes ago. I gave them my details, but they still have not come. They always take a long time, just like the justice system.
“I hope they hurry up because I want to leave this scene, which is not nice for anyone.”
She went on: “I did not want to get to this point. I wanted him to stop, to stop groping me.”
Officials say Baciocchi had taught Mancilla when she was 14 years old and that he had sexually harassed and abused her.
Police are investigating the case and have seized the pair’s mobile phones for analysis.
A source close to Mancilla told local media: “This man had been harassing her for a long time. She asked everywhere for help and no one paid attention to her.”
Authorities have ordered her to undergo a psychiatric assessment.
