This is the moment a Ferrari driver holds up the traffic on a busy street while filling up his high-powered motor with a jerrycan after it ran out of fuel.

The somewhat ‘uncool’ Ferrari owner had to whip out a petrol can and fill up on the street as trams and buses waited patiently behind.

The bungling incident was filmed in Croatia’s northern capital Zagreb and posted on Facebook where it has been viewed 91,000 times.

In the footage, the red Ferrari is seen parked on a zebra crossing as a small crowd gathers behind.

While the flash supercar, apparently a Ferrari California, holds up several buses and trams, the bulky owner appears red-faced as he reaches for a jerrycan.

Wearing a slim smile, the young man walks round to the petrol tank and starts filling up while a crowd looks on.

Netizens had a lot to say about the bungling Ferrari driver’s mishap. Facebook user ‘Svetirok’ wrote: “His dad must have forgotten to give him money for petrol.”

Link’ said: “He blew so much money on the Ferrari he had nothing left to fill up with!”

‘Zgubider’ commented: “Haha. You buy a car like that because you lack self-confidence and in the end you don’t even have petrol!”
