This is the moment firefighters help a suspected female burglar as she has her head stuck in the roof grille of a house she was reportedly trying to break into.
According to local media, the 28-year-old suspect, identified as Graciela, was caught trying to break into a house in Lomas del Puertecito in the city of Aguascalientes located in the central Mexican state of the same name.
Neighbours heard the whimpers of the suspected burglar and called the police, who arrived on the scene and caught the woman with her head and arms trapped in the roof grille.
Local media said that the young woman misjudged her frame and became lodged between the bars while trying to squeeze herself into the property.
The police then called the fire brigade to cut the suspect free.
According to reports, Graciela was taken to the ISSEA General Hospital Third Millennium in Aguascalientes with serious bruising and other minor injuries.
It is believed that the woman went to the house with an accomplice to rob it while the owners were out.
Local media said that the accomplice fled the scene before the police arrived.
The local authorities have yet to confirm whether Graciela is facing charges for the alleged burglary attempt.
