This stunning blonde slammed in Turkey for being in a relationship with another woman has been taunting her volleyball girlfriend and critics with a sizzling photograph showing what her girlfriend is missing while training with an Italian club.

The relationship between the two caused a scandal in socially conservative Turkey when it was revealed that pink-haired Turkish volleyball player Ebrar Karakurt, 21, who is almost two metres tall, was in a relationship with her girlfriend Imge after signing with Igor Gorgonzola Novara, an Italian women’s volleyball club based in Novara and currently playing in the Serie A1.

But the couple, who make no secret of their big love for each other by sharing snaps of themselves in romantic locations, are now apart, and Imge has shared this saucy snap of herself with a plunging neckline for her partner, who wrote: “You killed me [with this picture], you don’t need to check my pulse.”

The Turkish volleyball player, who is 1.96 metres (6’5″) tall, is part of both the Turkish women’s national volleyball team and the Italian club.

Ebrar, who previously played for Turk Hava Yollari (Turkish Airlines) in Turkey, transferred to Igor Gorgonzola Novara in May 2021 and signed a two-year contract.

Ebrar shared a photo with her girlfriend, identified as Imge, on her Instagram account in August 2021 after she moved to Italy, when she also came out about her sexual orientation.

The Instagram post was published by the conservative newspaper Takvim, which called her sexual orientation and relationship “scandalous”.

This, in turn, led to her being subjected to abuse on social media.

Following the backlash she received, Turkish National Volleyball Federation spokesperson Kurtaran Mumcu supported Ebrar, as did her teammates in the Turkish national team and several Turkish celebrities.

Ebrar, who says she ignores the criticism, continues to share photos with her girlfriend Imge, who is now living in Italy with her. She also comments under the pictures Imge shares quite often.

On the photo of Imge with the plunging neckline, some followers complimented the woman’s appearance and commented that they support the relationship between her and the volleyball player.

Other followers, however, left comments stating their disapproval of the relationship between the two.

A netizen named ‘Atilla’ wrote: “Enough! It makes me nauseous when I see these. They are constantly trying to normalise this strange thing between them by sharing it on the Internet.”
