A court in the Netherlands has ruled that an Israeli modelling agent can be extradited to his home country to face sexual assault allegations.

The court ruled that Shai Avital – who was seized in Amsterdam in August – can be handed over to Israel, where he is wanted over two alleged sexual offences.
In total, Avital has been accused of 26 sexual offences, including rape. However, he is protesting his innocence and may appeal his pending extradition.
His arrest in the Dutch capital after he was sighted by an Israeli policeman came more than one year after police in Israel issued a warrant against him.

Interpol had followed suit and issued a warrant for his arrest three months before he was caught.
Avital – who also has a Portuguese passport – is accused of offences including indecent exposure and forcible groping, kissing, and licking against several women.
One woman told how she allegedly maintained sexual relations with the agent after he falsely promised her she would appear on a popular reality TV programme.

Shockingly, he is also believed to have sent several sexually-charged messages to minors.
Media in Israel also found out he had paid hush money to Israela Avtau after sexually assaulting the Ethiopian-born model in his office.
The abuse he is accused of carrying out allegedly took place over two decades.
