This is the moving moment hundreds of football fans gather outside the house of one of their fellow supporters suffering from cancer and chant “get well soon” as he stands on his balcony.

The heartwarming scenes were recorded when a group of Raja Casablanca (also known as Raja Club Athletic) supporters went to the house of one of their fellow fanatics to cheer him on during his battle with cancer.

In the video, which has been posted online by one of the club’s supporters groups, hundreds of fans can be seen singing and jumping outside the house of the supporter, named in reports as Simo.

Simo is standing on the balcony with another man, reportedly his brother, and the fans can be heard singing in Arabic “get well soon Simo”.

The video was posted online with the caption: “Suffering from cancer, the “rajaouis” (fans of Raja Club Athletic) have offered him this incredible and emotional scene to show their support!”

Netizens loved the clip, with ‘Youn’s’ writing: “Sport is beautiful, bravo!”

And ‘Grandes Zoreilles’ simply wrote: “Respect.”

Raja are one of Morocco’s biggest clubs and were the runners-up in the Botola, also known as the Moroccan Premier League, last season behind Wydad Casablanca.
