Ex Miss Belgium Faces Prison After Admitting To Dealing Viagra For Pals

Former Miss Belgium Tanja Dexters is facing eight months in prison on drugs charges she denies, despite reportedly admitting to dealing small amounts of cocaine and Viagra for pals.

The case against the 44-year-old model and TV presenter, who was crowned Miss Belgium in 1998, started in June 2019 when the police raided her boyfriend’s home in the city of Herentals in the Belgian province of Antwerp.

The search followed a report that the couple held wild parties and sold drugs, according to the news site HLN.

Drugs were not found in the property at the time, however a sniffer dog reacted positively to Dexters’ purse, which presumably still contained remnants.

As a result of the investigation, Dexters, her partner Michael P., and four other defendants are taking the stand at a court in Turnhout, accused of dealing cannabis, cocaine and Viagra.

Dexters has always strongly denied selling drugs, however prosecutors said she admitted under questioning to occasionally supplying pals with Viagra.

Prosecutors also claim that she admitted to supplying cocaine for visiting Italian friends on three separate occasions.

As a result, the prosecution team is reportedly asking for a prison sentence of eight months.

However, Dexters’ defence team believes the evidence against her is insufficient and is calling for an acquittal, according to reports.
