The ex-husband of the overweight Russian woman who started an affair with his son after she lost weight has revealed he used to hear the pair having sex in the family home.
Marina Balmasheva, who has 405,000 dedicated followers on Instagram over her weight loss battle, lived with her husband for over 10 years before their marriage ended in divorce. She had claimed she only started a relationship with her stepson after she had split from her husband and says his latest claims are not true.
The 35-year-old woman, who hails from the western Russian region of Krasnodar Krai, recently admitted the relationship when she revealed that she has a new man in her life, and that he is her ex-husband’s 20-year-old son Vladimir.
Her ex-husband Alexey Shavyrin, 45, has now revealed how he found out his ex-wife had started a relationship with his son whilst speaking on the Russian talk show ‘Pryamoy Efir’ (On Air).
He said: “I could not fall asleep one night when I heard them having sex: Then I understood that Marina was cheating on me with my son… in a few minutes she just came and lay down next to me…I didn’t tell her a word that night.”
The husband said he did not know how to act after finding out about his wife’s infidelity and waited weeks before confronting her about it.
Blogger Balmasheva then told him that she had never loved him and that they had never been close.
She said on the TV programme: “All I was interested for the last couple of years was food, I got fat and wanted to die of such a life.”
She says she feels younger and happier with Vladimir, adding: “I don’t feel like a mature woman, like a woman who has to do stuff around the house etc… he makes me feel like a young and happy girl.
“Yet I understand that in some time he may meet another younger woman and leave me but I think – no. He will grow into a brave real man.”
Her ex-husband compared her seducing his son to how she initially seduced him, saying: “She did the same to me when we met as I was married and had two kids when I fell in love with her and she made me leave my family for her.”
The couple had adopted five children during their 13 years of marriage but after their divorce, the Russian authorities revoked the woman’s parental rights and the children now remain with their adopted father.
The blogger says despite widespread criticism of her actions she will continue to be active on social media and added “I am happy with Vladimir and that’s the most important thing for me.”
